It really goes to show how simple and narrow-minded you and your leftist sympathizers are, not learning the lessons of history. If Hitler had been stopped BEFORE he conquered most of Europe, there never would have been a need for us to get involved in a World War there. Saddam proved many times his Hitler-like tendencies, and when purportedly but not really "contained" by conventional means, used unconventional means -- support for terrorism and bribery of French and UN officials. If he had managed to get the UN sanctions lifted, which he was accomplishing, and resumed his WMD programs, which he vowed to do, we would have been faced in several years with the equivalent of a chemical, biological, and nuclear-armed Hitler capable of blackmailing the entire world.
