I totally disagree! I am not parroting anyone! In these days of modern mass media communication and the internet and cell phones, the Tora Bora fiasco would have been widely known even if the Bushies had tried to keep it under wraps and even if there were no John Kerry to harp/carp on it daily.

I re-iterate that the failure to capture Osama is a far more serious matter than the failure to nab Kaczinski! For one thing, whereas Osama was responsible for the deaths of ~2800 people (mostly Americans), Kaczinski killed only about a dozen folks and his enmity was directed largely against the Establishment. And, whereas Osama has an organization dedicated to killing Americans wherever they may be found, Kaczinski acted alone and in his country, and he became a harmless recluse until he was betrayed by his brother ----- apparently to give his sibling far better living conditions.

Despite Bush's failure, a large segment of America still stand behind him. Apparently, they share Bush's belief that Bush knows for certain what God wants him to do! As far as I am concerned, reality-based leadership and not faith-based
leadership is urgently needed in America today.
