My only point is that- no matter how much you may want someone no matter how much anyone may look for someone no matter how many resources you poor into no matter the length of time involved it may not happen when you want it to. On the second point that you keep insisting Kerry would have captured or killed Bin Ladin...how can you be certain- that monday morning quarterbacking, that a steady stream of words declaring what WOULD HAVE BEEN DONE by so and so in place of what so and so did would actually accomplish what so and so declares and what so and so did not? You are argueing about a past time with very limited facts. Sadly, the arguments, particularly with their extremely divisive tone and hugely polorizing negative drum beat incite our enemies to increase their attacks- just look at todays Iraq headlines whose son's whose daughter's whose Mom or Dad whose husband or wife whose friend died today and possibly in part because of the above tenor of debate going on for the last too many months? This is where my conviction comes from. Dissent can be a fine and decent right in our country but misused, abused at an early time of war it can cost additional lives and I feel that is totally unacceptable...unless those arguing are the ones with their lives on the line in battle. This is NO VIETNAM. Establishing a beachhead of democracy with a viable infrastructure is potentially one of the most hopefull actions that could happen in the mideast. I understand opinions, I will forever fail to understand the vehemence of the hatred other then due in huge measure to the same liberal hatred focused here by a few leaders...Kennedy, Kerry, Shommer, Gore, et al that incites the masses. Our countrymen die and they blather on about what they wouldda done, what shoulda been done. What morons are in power. In all honesty, was tora Bora the huge issue intense focus has made it, TO YOU, prior to Kerry making it so? Regardless of should we or shouldn't we be in Iraq the TRUTH is we are there. Period. Let that go as it divides us and emboldens our enemies. It must be seen to a conclusion with strength and relative stability or we will prove that even we are powerless and that will be a real tragedy for our future and the worlds. I respect that you care enough to read and listen and write. I hope you here that I do as well and that we are both Americans. Imagine this kind of debate and argument and venomous political infighting during WWII Europe would be speaking German and Hawaii would be Japanese. I know Kerry never would have gone. Then we never would have known the French Germans, Russians, Chinese and Head of the UN were in bed with Saddam blocking our sanctions for kick backs. What a rosie but neive fantasy world that would have been. Putin warned us of Saddams intention to attack us. We have not abandon our efforts to find OBL. I doubt that Kerry, who has so little to tell America regarding his dull career as a Senator for 20 years, would have done any better or will do any better. Judging just from the military response those enlisted overwhelmingly believe he would not and support Bush. That says a lot to me as well. nuff said.
