Specifically, remember the alert for events that happened long time ago ? Exploiting people's fear of terrorism and tying it to Iraq and deceiving the people - that is proven to be wrong. Just because Bush/cheney keep making up a new reason, everytime they get caught with their pants down, doesn't make the latest reason the right reason. Here we go again. Another liberal with a short memory. 9/11 was SOOOO long ago. THEY CAME HERE AND KILLED 3,000 OF OUR PEOPLE IN NYC. I know it is fine with you if we just allow them to get away with it. I do believe that liberals are, to a large extent, less intelligent than conservatives. Liberalism, if one thinks clearly about it, cannot work, has never worked, and never will work. Consider Social Security as a perfect example. Liberal concept, threatening to bring the nation to its very knees. Medicare, same thing. Welfare, same thing -- had Gingrich not shoved welfare reform down Clinton's throat, we'd be in the same place with it. I can name a hundred of 'em. Foreign policy, same thing. Cold War? Reagan ended it. Iran Hostage Crisis? Never would have happened under a conservative. Refusing to have BinLaden handed to us? Only a liberal would do it. Vietnam? LBJ. Liberals create problems. Conservatives solve them. I've yet to see a liberal on this thread who can make a reasonable case against Joe. Or Ten. Or any of the other conservatives here. You can only namecall and shout and lie. That's the game plan. Same as Kerry. Liberals are simply stupid people IMO. I'm sure the other conservatives on this thread wouldn't put it in stark terms as I do. But honestly, I've never seen a liberal who could make a good case for the liberal philosophy. Why liberalism works. It doesn't, of course. So the case is impossible to make.
