What makes his twenty years "failed?" It seems to me he's had a rather typical Senatorial record, with some highs and some lows.

How many Senator can count less than two pieces of legislation per term (other than honoring someone) to their names? Maybe mediocrity is unattainable in the Senate.

Would you succeed in life if you attended 1/4 of your meetings? Would you go to a doctor, lawyer or grocer who was that lax?

Or is he just anyone but Bush? Most of the likely Kerry voters are a single issue ABB.

But that's the way it usually is when there's an incumbent running.

Sometimes it is about the ideas. There is usually an element of Democrat versus Republican. In my life I have never seen any period of four years with as much hate spewing forth as from the Democrats since President Bush was elected.

That is not the model of an informed electorate.

I've got news for you, dude. The electorate is not informed, and never has been!

There is reason the founding fathers only allowed property owners to vote. They were more invested in the outcome. It is interesting that investors prefer President Bush.
