Is Kerry a Navy hero? Nope. Not in the U.S. Naval Academy's home town of Annapolis, MD.

Annapolis is the state capital of one of those "liberal eastern" states. It's also a one-paper town, the Annapolis Capital Gazette, which has a liberal editorial page. It's also the home of the US Naval Academy.

The Annapolis Capital Gazette today endorsed Democrats in 7 of 9 contested races, with one very notable exception: George Bush for President.

And Bush goes to war when he doesn't have to. Your point is?

You can think what you want, of course. I don't imagine Kerry will have to have a mysterious object on his back to function as president, though. W didn't exactly advertise that he really, really wanted a war in Iraq in the 2000 election, but by all indications his heart was set already. It's not clear what Kerry would be like, but it's pretty clear at this point that W digs war. If you dig war, you should vote for him.

Having to take a poll to figure out how to react to Osama's tape pretty much says it all.

Kerry's better verbally, Bush is much smarter emotionally; that's why Bush is the better politician, imo.

That's what they say about dogs...that they are emotionally smart, yet not too bright in other ways. I agree with your assessment of GW Bush.

That's the first time I've seen him compared to a dog. Usually, it's to a chimpanzee.
