I'm another conservative/libertarian who will hold his nose and vote for Kerry. I'm not worried about Kerry's liberalism, since the Congress will remain in Republican hands. Anyway, Bush isn't much of a conservative, except on religious issues like gay marriage. Bush is for big government and deficit spending, didn't veto a single bill, and his adopted vision of changing the world through military force is extremely un-conservative. You may remember that Bush campaigned against "nation building" in 2000. But 9-11 addled his brain. Or he never had a brain. He went berserk and attacked a country that had nothing to do with 9-11, with little thought and planning, and now the next President will inherit the ugliest mess since Vietnam.

A real conservative would never be utterly blinded by dogma.
