I voted for Bush this morning. So far no voter remorse. I still dont know what kerry's position on iraq is. I hope that if bush wins he will finally make the necessary changes in his administration to help win the war and begin the difficult task of dealing with the deficit. I have my doubts about him being able to do that.
David Brooks said today in the NYT that Gebhardt would have beat bush by 10 points, i believe, and that the only reason its close is because kerry is just such a miserable candidate with no real record in congress. I said the same thing last night to my son regarding Gephardt. I would have voted for him or Lieberman in a heartbeat because of bush incompetence on the war. And i dont think many democrats would have run to either nader if gephardt or lieberman were the nominee. Well the dems backed of dean and probably got something worse. They were snookered and it will be apparent if kerry does indeed lose. I just could not pull the trigger for kerry even thought i gave myself a couple of seconds to do just that this morning. Mike
