Ted, Bush won Ohio (and thus won) if you project the remaining Ohio countries out. Am surprised the news network's mathematicians haven't figured this out yet. It's disappointing this country is so backwards when it comes to women's rights, that it would actually vote another 4 years of this backwardness. 8 years is a long time for women to take of inequality. The sad thing is, when a backwards person hears the phrase "women's rights" they actually think it equates to abortion rights because they are so clueless about all of women's rights being violated. Only a person that is so stunningly clueless about all the rights that women do not have (such as equality of medical research), would think of women's rights in only that sense, when in fact there are many, many rights women should have but don't (such as equality of medical research in studies.) Since Bush has likely won the electoral vote, and if he does win the electoral vote then I actually hope Bush wins the popular vote in order to avoid a scenario where some whacko out there does something destructive due to two consistent years of a controversial situation where the popular voted President wasn't elected. Could you imagine if Cheney became President? Yuck. At this point, the projection is 95% for Bush to win Ohio based upon projecting out the remaining Ohio countries. It would truly take a miracle for the remaining Ohio counties to vote substantially higher Democratic than they previously have been doing, so I believe Bush has won. In four years, this guy is out. By then the country should be more ready to move forward. We'll probably have a modern Democrat or a much better Republican candidate in the next Presidential election that isn't stuck in the stone age. Unfortunately, the pace of progress is awfully slow when you have to wait for the rest of the country to catch up. Nearly a decade feels like a person's entire life. Regards, Amy J
