in Southern Baptist and most evangelical churches, women can not be preachers. They can't even speak. You are to sit at the back of the church and keep your mouth shut. So how could they deal with a woman president?

ted: When half a nation can vote for someone like ...

Well, this time it's even more than a half a nation, it seems.
Condolations. At least it's an eye opener for the rest of the world what's really happening in Fox News own country.

Tonight, I'm going to open one of my last bottles of the truly splendid Matanzas Creek Sonoma Merlot 1992. Today, the wines of this winery are rather uninspiring junk. What a disaster.

These people believe that Laura Bush is the ideal woman.

She's certainly a class act. What's your beef with her? Not all women are "Sex in the City" types.

Theresa Kerry on the other hand doesn't exhibit much class.

I doubt if Laura Bush would be interested. Hillary would be, but she inspires more hate than any other feelings, probably than all other feelings combined.

When half a nation can vote for someone like Bush, electing a woman is off probably a quarter of a century

I think the vast majority of people would be willing to vote for a woman that they agreed with politically. I certainly would be willing but I've never had the chance to do so on any election to a position higher then the state assembly.

I think a woman could get elected if she could get the nomination of a major party. The problem seems to be getting that nomination.
