I have a friend who works with DUK. being they are an energy giant, I asked if they were in any way involved in BPL.....he looked at me like I was crazy and asked how I even knew what BPL was......heck, he said he didnt even know what it was until recently...he knows I am an active trader and I simply explained I have been looking into BPL and the players involved.....Anyway, he said suprisingly enough, they just set up some beta test area's, employing BPL technology and are very excited about what the technology can do for them.....he had no idea if they were involved with BPL with any other players, but yes, they were into BPL and excited about it...this is a very large energy company obviously, and they have yet to make any public statements about BPL as far as I know...so, I have to assume, BPL is catching the attention of most big energy players and they will all have to 'get in bed' with somebody to deploy this technology.
