You must have lived in London too long, Mq. You're not thinking straight.

I get a big kick from those who say that Iraq is about cheap oil for America. Oil is a global commodity with global pricing. Everyone pays the same price for oil, more or less. If Iraq is about cheap oil, then it's about cheap oil for everyone. The price differences for gas at the pump, country-by-country, are a result of each country's gasoline sales tax policies. And sales taxes are regressive, which as everyone knows, is a BAD THING.
