Kodiak, regarding: "southern whites . . . dumb . . . backwards and ignorant" and tolerance. This is the contradiction that the liberals have to play. For example, most liberals campaign for women's rights but when their candidate (Clinton) takes advantage of a young intern, they defended him because he supported their rights to kill unborn children. The tolerance that the elite liberals espouse is doled out for every segment of society except for white, southern, conservative Christians. We can have a black studies program at a university or a Muslim's study program but what university offers "White Christian" studies? As my son once said "To be liberal is to be a contradiction".
