You are damn right I would fight to keep you. The United States of America has fifty states, and we need them all.

You all don't act as if you need them all. You act as if some of us are your lackies.......distasteful and inappropriate. Marriages are based on trust, mutual respect and liking. When those things are lost, then divorce becomes one of the avenues to broach. We are looking at the possibility of divorce. You are welcome to join the discussion.

Dave, RE: "You are damn right I would fight to keep you. The United States of America has fifty states, and we need them all."

I think if more pro-Bush people shared your attitude that the not-Bush folks are needed, you would not find people feeling so excluded from the process.

48% of the population did not vote for Bush. It's something 51% of the people need to remember.

Bush has the slimmest margin of victory since 1916, so Bush and his followers should really keep that in mind, rather than arrogantly saying "do it my way, or leave."

I respect your post, because you imply including people in the process, which is a more constructive attitude than telling 48% of the voters, "if you don't like it, leave."

Regards,
Amy J
