Does that make me a stupid, ignorant, homophobic, emotional, callous, a redneck, a religious zealot who's knuckles have carpet burns from being dragged on the floor, and who is like Micheal Moore and Barbara Streisand?

One of the problems with all this stereotyping is that the application is ridiculously overbroad. The mere fact of living in a red state or a blue state is an absurd basis for making any judgment about someone. Just goes to show what effect politics has on critical thinking.

I just had lunch with a friend who was pining over the election results. One of the things she finds unfathomable is how all these stupid, etc. red folks, the little guys, could vote against their self interest by aligning themselves with the robber barons. Of course, it's a matter of how one sees one's self interest, whether tis in one's interests to line up with them or against them. Whole different mind set. Made for an interesting meal.
