Tell your friend that bs is so last year. Bush has had almost four years to provide the gear, hasn't done it has he. And won't now that he has a mandate to line his own pockets.

The troops in Iraq and their families who voted for Bush can use plywood and sandbags (oops, they've already done that!) instead of armor plating.

When they return, they can live in their cars and stand in food lines while they wait half a year to get seen at the VA (ooops, they've already done that!)
