From now on, Bush will have to claim responsibility for his own disasters. He'll have had a Republican government with no one else to blame. This may be divine justice, with him in office when the the bills come due, the foreigners quit financing our debt, and the shit hits the fan. Even Kerry didn't think he could begin straightening out the fiscal mess for four years, and he had a plan and was going to try!
