<On the bright side, America's trade deficit won't get larger.>

There will be lots of positive effects of a dirty nuke:

1. Americans will, once again, become rugged self-reliant individualists, just as we imagine ourselves to be. We will have to produce our own energy, build our own products, grow our own vegetables and fruit, etc.

2. The savings rate will go way up. "Honey, I went to WalMart, and all the shelves are empty, since they can't import anything from China any more."

3. Quality stocks will be available at a price/sales ratio of 1.

4. Outsourcing of middle-class jobs will cease.

Future's so bright, gotta wear shades.....
