I thought we deported them? And... I'm so tired of love it or leave it. Part of the idea of secession is that there is no given right of the federal government to make you choose between your land and them. It's OUR land. They can go away. Why should they get CA? Or other states? I haven't yet found the first sites I read years ago by modern Southern secession movements, but surely will in time. But there are many sites out there from libertarians to reactionairy groups to others. What I had never seen before, nor read, until the last few days is talk of blue/liberal/whatever folks talking of it. Maybe it is irritating? It's one thing to tell a hippie or young punk to leave, than have them say I'm keeping my land and blow off. It's one thing to say "we are going to secede" than to have another person say they are. lol. Like getting dumped first? "I dumped you...." "no, I dumped YOU". I find it interesting how threatening the reds find the notion of secession. They complain ad nauseum how much they hate the other side but when we offer to leave, they go nuts......complaining that we have no right to make that kind of move. Again, its just like a divorce when one party says they are leaving, the other party who has complained for years that he/she had not been a good husband/wife suddenly doesn't want he/she to leave. Really, screwed up thinking! If you want to maintain a relationship, you don't make that happen by criticizing and attacking the other party. In any case, I think a discussion on secession is appropriate and timely. I am quite amazed at how many people are thinking and talking about it. Its like a critical momentum has been realized.......apparently, the straw that broke the camel's back has happened to many and not just a few. ted
