He works around a slew of liberals, and they could barely conceal their sorrow. It was very quiet and subdued. It was the after shock.........no body was poking their head up. There were no people about. It was quieter than usual. There were no extraneous noises like guns, trucks, construction equipment.......there was an eerie silence to the place even though we are in the belly of the beast. I encountered a very vocal, and upset young man in line at the local grocery store. He had the attention of everyone else with his tirade about the ignorance of American citizens, he threatened to move to Canada. The guy that was checking me out raised his eyebrows......as did I. I had a blast listening to him.......observing the people around me and wishing my cheeks didn't hurt so much, but glad for the reason. For the most part, I think most liberals did their ranting in private. When the guy at the gas station was ringing up my bill for a diet pepsi he casually said, "I don't like that guy" as he pointed to a mercedes that was fueling that had Bush/Cheney signs in it's windows and American flags on both back passenger windows. I said that was too bad. I told him I had voted for Bush and that I was extremely happy. He smiled and said in a very friendly way that he was happy for me..........I liked that. BTW: No need to spend money on expensive machines. The solution to SAD is to spend at least 1/2 hour outside every day rain, shine, gray, blue. The small amount of ultra violet that manages to enter the lens of the eye even on dark, gloomy days significantly alleviates the symptoms of SAD.
