If what you really want are all the rights that married couple have, then why don't you push for civil unions. Even Bush isn't against that. But no, you want to take a pillar like marriage and defile it. What's next a campaign to have a gay Catholic pope? What makes you think he isn't? You're disgusting......you are just like the whites back in the early 20th century, looking for a group to denigrate. You say Christians have advanced............I doubt it if you are an example of that advancement. The GOP/Evangelicals have targeted the Muslims as the global scapegoat and the gays as the national scapegoat. How is that any different than what Hitler did with the Jews and Serbia with the Muslims? One thing I can say is you righties are consistent in your hate for people different from yourselves.
