Well, I never claimed ignorance of politics. I claimed ignorance of ‘the way things work in Washington.’ I know my way around Washington well enough, but I would be the first to admit ignorance of the specific reasons for why some politicians act as they do. I can always speculate that the cause is money, but I have no proof of it – and neither do you.

Bush view of federal volume discounts never escaped my attention in this discussion. I simply prefer to address issues methodically, not foolishly lumping them all together in some leftist conspiracy theory pitting Bush against the “common man.” There is no evidence to support such a thing. So it is most prudent to take the issues one at a time. The discussion began concerning Bush’s view toward Canadian drugs and I explained the view quite well. Lacking any sufficient rejoinder, you’ve now launched into the entirely separate issue of federal volume discounts for drugs, treating this issue as if it has something to do with the first, this, without any evidence at all.
