Thanks for your informative post. For sure, the world is changing fast, and Islam and the Islamists are more energetic than ever. When I was in Malaysia about 30 years ago, I saw very few headscarves (tudung) being worn by Muslim women. But nowadays they are to be seen almost everywhere and there is an ongoing clamour by Islamists worldwide for headscarves to be allowed in schools, for example in France. And a Morrocan Islamist murdered a great grand nephew of van Gogh for the latter's criticisms of Islamic teachings. Some Muslims told me that their Allah sent his prophet Mohammed because the Christians had "screwed up" Jesus' teachings. In other words, Mohammed presented corrections and updates. LOL! They added that the oil wealth in Arab territories is no accident: it seems they imply their Allah put it there so that the rest of the world will be forced to pay attention to the Islamic world!
