My point wasn't about how close Blue states were. A number of them were close but so where a few Red states. The reason why I posted it was that I was surprised that Bush's main gain in support from 2000 was in urban areas. Traditionally Republicans don't do as well in urban areas.

Part of my anger and frustration is that I am out of step with other Americans. For that reason, I am looking into the possibility of emigrating.

America is a patchwork. We are all out of step at least some of the time. In some areas we're in the majority. In other areas, not. What is it about this scenario that provokes in you such a drastic response?
