Some food for thought on EPM.U and ANO.U

EPM.U: I am leary of buying anything in Khazakstan, after a gold stock that I had in 1997, Khazakstan Goldfields (KGFC) had its gold resources confiscated by the government of K.
Also a uranium explorer, World Wide Minerals had a similar incident with its Uranium resources and consequently filed a suit in International Court againt gov't of K. for about 100 Million US$. I don't know how it panned out after I lost interest in this jurisdiction. Maybe the government there has changed or have passed western type mining laws since 1997?

ANO.U: I also like it and noticed that is it selling near the same price as in Jan 2003, but now with better defined and more? ounces! However, it has 2 potential/perceptual "strikes" against it:
- Trading in US$, it loses out on the Canadian $ currency play at least now while the C$ is zooming.
- Perhaps more importantly, having the gold in Turkey, some investors may be scared off by the proximity to the increasingly more unstable middle east ie Iraq, Iran etc.

Just my 2 cents!

Cheers,
Terry
