I don't know who is calling the shots over there, but it was stupid to broadcast our imminent attack for several weeks. I know they did that to save civilian lives, but in the process they allowed the top insurgents plenty of time to escape and set up camp somewhere else. Would Kerry have taken the gloves off and crushed the city un-announced with all the women and children still inside? I think not. As much as that strategy sounds good, we can't stop being the good guys. We may as well just carpet bomb the city otherwise. Brian

Why do you think the coalition has any idea who are the top insurgents? Fallujah has been a no go zone for months, how does the coalition know who is/was there?
