Medical care is rationed in most European countries. Discussion of social policy based on your feelings toward your mom does not help. To deny major lifesaving support for terminally ill makes a lot of sense. The argument that we are entering a slippery slope is to be contrasted with the alternative, which is sapping the country of its ability to function.
