Iraq is becoming too depressing to discuss -- what is there left to say, except a prayer for the dead and the dying. I am going to try to turn my sights elsewhere -- at least in part, to look at the bigger foreign policy picture that has been obscured by the horrendous and pointless carnage in Iraq and the bungling of our foreign policy in the "war on terror".
