I think your argument is specious. I think its another attempt by the right of trying to make liberals wrong.

Not all liberals or Democrats. Many where strongly anti-communist, and very few with totally pro-communist. But the few who were pro-communist don't get the type of opposition from others on the left that any pro-Nazi would get from the right in the US.


What do you mean? Did you never hear of Joe McCarthy? And even if he didn't exist, the right has been jawboning the-not-strong-on-communist issue about liberals for nearly 70 years.

Tim, there is too much the-poor-little-me in your presentations. In reality, the right's voice has been loud and clear as it has sounded out through the decades over its concerns. At times, its like the nagging of a significant other. That's why that post yesterday about the South from Wharf Rat hit a nerve. Its in reaction to that constant griping from the South [and the right] that we've grown accustomed to while showing the hypocrisy of their complaints.
