"Not all liberals or Democrats. Many where strongly anti-communist, and very few with totally pro-communist. But the few who were pro-communist don't get the type of opposition from others on the left that any pro-Nazi would get from the right in the US."

What do you mean? Did you never hear of Joe McCarthy? And even if he didn't exist, the right has been jawboning the-not-strong-on-communist issue about liberals for nearly 70 years.

1 - Joe McCarthy wouldn't qualify under the category of "others on the left". Neither would "the right"

2 - Joe McCarthy was blasted by the left and eventually by many on the right. If McCarthy had been going after Nazis instead of communists I doubt the left would have been as eager to condemn him.

Tim, there is too much the-poor-little-me in your presentations.

No "poor-little-me", I'm just fine as is conservatism. Pointing out the moral failings of the left isn't crying about the plight of the right.
