And the Japanese were only defending themselves against american imperialism and our denial of steel??. Sure the same things are viewed differently by nations but that does not mean you should subordinate your interests to those of your potential enemy. Now of course i am buying into the concept of mullahs as the shiaa equivalents of al quaeda. I dont actually believe that. I suspect they won't go off half cocked with nukes and trade tehran for tel aviv as some of the more fanatical mullahs have stated. That is one thing that they will need to prove before they are allowed to break the non-proliferation rules. mike
