I noticed yesterday that we can't pre-ban anyone from a thread anymore. They have to post on a thread before they can be banned. That is probably not the "pre-ban" you were talking about though. Decades ago some friends of mine had a child born severely handicapped. I think the condition was that it's brain never developed and I don't remember the correct term right now. But I remember that the hospital and my friends agreed to deny care until the baby died. A cruel solution to a cruel problem.
