The multinational corporations would all just reincorporate in some overseas location --- then they would be exempt from your 'exported jobs tax', as they wouldn't be US corps anymore....

We would lose all our big businesses... (and, likely every free trade agreement in existence.)

A better way might be to give corporations a tax credit for each domestic employee.

This is essentially a huge new tariff on the labor market.

If implemented, I predict horrible results,
similar to the Smoot-Hawley tariffs leading
to the Great Depression.
