No doggies- thank goodness, though there are kitties living in the bakery across the street. When I take the kids there for pastries, the kids love to watch the kitties.

The pastries are awesome, btw, and so is the bread. I will really miss the bread and the pain au chocolate- I've never had any as good as the Pain au chocolate here.

WE saw the winged victory of Samothrace today, as well as the venus de Milo and the Mona Lisa- as well as a slew of other Da Vincis, and Caravaggios, and what nots. Mr X was most happy to see the Code of Hammurabi, which was impressive.

the more we walk the city, the more I love it. Today we watched the sun set in the Jardin du Palais Royale- where some young boys played by the fountain, and some older boys played soccer- and lovers strolled arm and ar through the trees. Our family sat in our green metal chairs just taking it all in- what a moment. Life is so great- it's short, but it can be so sweet- right? And the sweetness is the important part.

We send our best to you and the Mrs, and hope to see you soon. Best of everything- the sweetest things in life to you,

X
