Bum, The original report had explained the methodology of coming up with the number and had a disclaimer that the the number was statistical with a degree of uncertainty to it.

Funny how few people know about that "nuance." I certainly didn't.

But, I forget that to many of you, they are all terrorists, so they dont deserve any mercy like our civilians do.

I don't know of anyone who thinks they "are all terrorists". Your remark is based on total ignorance of what is truly happening in Iraq. Do you not comprehend the fact that these people were living ujnder a brutal dictator until we rescued them?

The loss of these lives is tragic. But thousands of Iraqis were losing their lives every month due to Saddam's reign. If you want to get into body counting, it is clear we will have saved innocent lives on a net basis.

Burn,

The original report had explained the methodology of coming up with the number and had a disclaimer that the the number was statistical with a degree of uncertainty to it.

That's not what the headline said, and that is not how it was reported. I bothered to read the fine print, but assumption of the manipulators was that the majority of the readers would not.
