<Most Bushies WILL eventually get the rude awakening.>

The election outcome is seen across the rest of the world as a full American validation of Bush Administration policies. The distinction between the American public and President Bush and what he is doing will be erased. Before, President Bush was being isolated as his former American allies refused, held back, and/or departed Iraq. Now, it will be all Americans who will be globally isolated. And as the world isolates itself from the US, it will also take its money away.

I'm looking very carefully at the ISM (old Purchasing Managers Index). Any read below 50 will signal that the second leg down of the secular bear has begun.

<When the awakening happens>

2005. Between February and April.

I'm currently 50% long (10% in the Fidelity Select Gold Fund since November 3), so I'm a Fool. But I'll be 70% cash, 20% short, and 10% in Gold Mining come the first week of February. I'm looking at new all time highs for the Price of Gold in 3- 31/2 years.
