That's a very interesting history, E. Thanks for bringing me up to date. I know from my own very brief experience of using an alias that it is more fun because I don't have to worry so much about saying provocative things, and when a potential employer googles me, he won't be able to find out everything I have mused about since 1996.

Out of curiosity, who was the robber?

I had a thing like that when I was first on SI. Guy called me and said to buy XXX @ $4. Sold it the next year for $29. Then I got the threat from another guy. I posted my name and address plus directions to my house. Empty threat, he's still alive because he never showed up. Poet won that award so I know her, or did know her name. I forgot after a minute because I don't want to make any problems for her.
