Searle, I'm beginning to wonder if there is method to Bush's madness. He wants to make the tax breaks permanent and I often wonder if he wants to crash the dollar and possibly introduce a new type of money (like they did when they introduced the Euro dollar) and monetize it or underwrite it using commodities as the guarantee. Greenspan once talked about this and I seem to remember he said it was the best way to stabilize currency. Why else would he behave with such recklessness unless he truly is mad? (This is strictly my opinion but I may have read it at some point in my life and therefore may be in danger of being accused of plagiarizing by Lady gold tutor.) James
