Then what did your friends mean by this?? I know that at least three of my Democratic friends have eerily said exactly the same thing since the election--"F%&* the troops", since they and military families voted overwhelmingly for Bush, and the sentiment now is that they asked for whatever happens in Iraq/wherever Bush adventures next. What do they mean by "they asked for whatever happens" Sounds like to me (a product of the 60s and the Viet Nam era) that they want our troops to be in harms way getting what they deserve.
