It can only work if you go public. So as Dr. Strangelove said at the end of that classic clip you provided us: "so vhy did you keep it a secret?" If we have a plan for an arab doomsday device if we are attacked, we better go public before we are slammed, dont you think? mike
PS Didnt you love the George C. Scott character and the factoid that the good doctor changed his name to strangelove after he was spirited away from the wartime german program.

I watched Fail Safe 2000 today. Great cast and done in a 50s black and white. Even made me wish the Nuclear Genie was still in the bottle.
