Ae Fond Kiss looks really good. I hope it is not too hard to get on video in the U.S., though. Most of the good movies seem to disappear completely before they hit Blockbuster or whatever.

I didn't like Shakespeare in Love at all. I'm glad someone else feels the same way, since I felt a bit uncultured or clueless or something.

On an interesting note, former girlfriend Elizabeth Hurley has asked the ubiquitous Hugh Grant to give her away at her wedding:

ananova.com

On a more disturbing note, also at ananova.com, Colin Firth was asked about Grant at a press conference in Switzerland and said that Hugh was the only actor in the Bridget movies who was really like his character, implying that he was just playing himself. Of course, this was not the case in About A Boy, and that is why I like it so much.
