That's fascinating about the Colin Firth quote. Thanks for that. The dynamic between them certainly works on the screen :-) I think the pratty fight in Bridget Jones is one of my all time favorite movie scenes. My oldest daughter and I love watching that movie together- of course we both liked the book very much. Fielding wrote a new book, which I read while I was away, called Olivia Joules and the Overactive Imagination. I don't know if you've read it yet, but my daughter and I thought it was a sort of Crispy Creme donut of a read. It's not great literature, but it's fun to read, and it's nice to have a very spunky, not totally tortured, female lead- who is really Ian Flemming in designer drag, but with a really good sense of humor.
