Rice Urges 'Wait and See' Approach to Iranian Nukes by Scott Ott (2004-11-18) -- Secretary of State nominee Condoleezza Rice today urged a "wait and see approach" in the wake of news that Iran may be secretly continuing its uranium enrichment program and developing missiles to carry nuclear warheads. I wouldn't have thought him stupid enough to bring Vietnam up again and he did. Based his whole campaign on it. At this point there is nothing stupid that man could do that would surprise me.
