You're right. One party planned an attack on the country, planned the market bubble to burst, planned a war to be fought, planned to attempt to secure "our country" from future attacks all while really trying to bankrupt the country on purpose. The other party just does it by accident. And just perhaps had the previous administration spent a little more on intelligence and security with all that surplus you said they had, then 9/11 doesn't happen, then the war on terror doesn't happen, and so on.......
