I am not fit to judge whether a minority or majority of public schools are failures. In most communities, the public school system that educated me would be a success. I view it as a failure, and moved to a smaller community with a truly outstanding public school system.

Not everyone has the financial resources to vote with their feet. Public education is a public good. Every person in this country (citizen or guest) deserves to be educated by a school system that works. The educators need to educate on facts, and not political agendas.
