Radio this AM said the average price for the entire state is 425 thou.
Ha ha, I am so far below that. I've got 40 acres to go the house, and it is maybe worth 300 thou.OTH, the boom has started even way up here. It was probably only worth about 130 thou in Y2K. It may even be more now; I rarely look, becase I intend to have my ashes sprinkled here. Let my kids worry about the value.

In '86, I "traded" my place in Redwood City on 7000 square feet for a similar sized house on 40 acres + about $100,000.
The cabin I bought in '74 for 27K sold for 180K in '86. By about '99, it was being rented for 27K a year, haha.
