His cartoons are how Pat Oliphant sees people. He puts his vision to pen and paper, and it reflects on him as a person.

His caricatures of Condi Rice reflect his view of her. He obviously doesn't like her one bit, and one either likes or dislikes...agrees or disagrees.......with his pov.

Those that don't are outraged and say racism pours from his pen. I can see how others could construe his portrayal as racist. Then again I can see that he believes she is a puppet/parrot too. I don't see any racism there. He thinks she is a big mouthed parrot. I guess he thinks she is a bird brain.

I wonder what he thought of Madeleine Albright as Secretary of State?
