Growing up in the Deep South during the days of Jim Crow segregation, I think my consciousness was raised quite a bit. I used to collect racist memorabilia (books, mostly) whenever I ran across it but it's hard to find anymore.

Liberal racism is the most pernicious and the most despicable because it is clothed in alleged good intentions. We have tons of it at SI. Take a look at this godawful place in which C. Rice is taking a beating for, among other things, her looks and her scholarly achievements ["affirmative action baby"]. I think the fact that Rice is a woman has a lot to do with this insane response, but I can't quite yet figure out the psychodynamic. It undoubtedly has to include the recent Demo. defeat, which is pushing a lot of lefties over the edge.

I agree with carranza2. They really ought to teach a serious course on liberal racism. It goes much deeper than the few examples carranza2 pointed out too. The left sells grossly exaggerated racism by the right & society in general It practices racism under the guise that their actions are something other than what it is - racism. And like every other form of propaganda from the left; we are attacked for calling it what it is. Reality has become the enemy of the liberal left.
