Great story, nh.... My group is also doing three things for our military... We have for years decorated a ward of the local Vets Hospital, and brought them little gifts for Christmas. This year we are bringing each of the 42 men and women a 50x60" fleece throw that one of our members made...surged for hours and hours. It will come with a few other gifts like socks, Hershey bars, pens and paper, stamps etc. We have adopted the sons and grandsons of any of our members who are in Iraq or Afghanistan -- just sent them a phone card each (for any R&R they might get out of country) and various food goodies).... The third group is from www.anysoldier.us ...one of our members has taken it upon herself to send as many packages to these folks as she can, and we are assisting her with some of the postage...
