If you make it racist to even talk about race, or acknowledge it, then we really DO have a problem. I think liberals went overboard on racial entitlements- I always thought need was a better factor to look at, rather than race. Why should the children of black professionals need advancement?

So, what we have, imo, is racism on the left AND right- it's just different kinds of racism. People of good will meet in the middle and discuss it rationally, and try not to throw the baby out with the bathwater. Unfortunately the number of people of goodwill willing to meet in the middle is shrinking- and that does not bode well for race relations in the future (imo).

I will but don't call me a raciest. I live in the middle of Illinois, used to have one shooting every 5 years. Chicago cut back on public housing and local owners went for the section 8 housing. Good money from the government. Now we have 5 shootings a year and drug busts out the ying yang, mostly from imported blacks.
